Welcome to the Jalon Valley
The village of Jalon (also known as Xalo) is nestled at the foot of the Bernia mountain range and surrounded by a lush landscape and beautiful vineyards. Jalon was once an important stop for pilgrims travelling to Santiago de Compostela on horseback, many of whom would rest there and replenish their supplies of food, wine and water from the river.
Jalon is a small village and is mainly residential and agricultural but has a thriving café society with outdoor dining in typical Spanish bars and restaurants.
